Any charge from a merchant you've never paid before is now flagged within a day of appearing. Recurring charges you'd forgotten are grouped separately, with the annual total shown next to the monthly amount — $9.99 reads very differently as $119.88 a year.

In the first month, the median user found four charges they didn't recognize. About a third were free trials that had converted silently, and the oldest one anybody reported had been running since 2022.

Alerts are on by default and can be turned off per account in settings.
